Goes on & off all the time for no reason

This outside light looks nice, But it goes on and off frequently for no reason and when it is required to be on (to open front door at night), it goes off very quickly before you can unlock the door. I feel so embarrassed that it must disturb the neighbours all night, I’m going to replace it.
